Lets skip the usual argument about his stance against the Civil Rights Act and whether that Act actually harmed or aided racism and equality in this country and lets skip the part where I make an Anarchist critique of the very idea of Representative Democracy and voting - lets talk about these quotes from a newsletter authored/facilitated by Ron Paul. Went over to Stuart’s place for food today (the little place between North Trail liquors and the Check Cashing Store) - upon entering he greeted me and told me he had been thinking of me earlier when contemplating who would come in and save his life if he was having a heart attack or had been beat up. A little morbid for sure - but it reminded me that I have people here I care about and care about me outside of New College; Sarasota has in many ways become my home and not just the place I go to…
